Fall 7s Rugby is here. 2026 season. High school girls and boys, every Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Conditioning begins August 4 at Crabapple Field, Roswell Area Park.
The 2026-2027 season kicks off with HS Fall 7s. Conditioning starts Tuesday, August 4.
Register Now. Play September 12.

Our season opener is the Irish Ruggerfest in Nashville on Saturday, September 12. To enter sides and build rosters we need committed numbers well before then, so registration is the one thing we need from you this week.

Register by Friday, August 21 to play in Nashville. That date is our cutoff for naming the travelling squad, because tournament entries go in ahead of time. It is not a cutoff on joining the club.

Registration Takes Three Steps

A player is fully registered once all three are done. Here they are in order:

1. City of Roswell. Open now. Pick the age group and pay the City fee. That is the yellow button above.
2. USA Rugby, on Rugby Xplorer. Opens Friday, August 14. Required to play, and it carries the accident insurance. Watch for our step-by-step before you start it, so every player lands in the right listing.
3. Rebels club registration. Link coming soon. We post it the moment it is ready.

Then what? Once you are registered, your player joins TeamSnap. That is where practice times, field changes, and match logistics live all season.

Stuck at any point, email info@rebelsrugbyga.com and we will walk you through it.

Hi Rebels families, two things this week.

One: register. Rosters, tournament entries, and TeamSnap all run off it, and coaches cannot plan a season on maybes.

One: come Tuesday. Conditioning starts August 4, and the first two weeks you just show up. Bring boots and water, and nothing else.

Your First Two Weeks: Just Show Up

August 4 through August 13, come as you are. Nothing to sign, nothing to pay, no registration needed first. Four sessions to find out whether rugby is your kid's thing.

Bring your registration questions to the field. We will answer them there, in person, one family at a time.

Not sure where your player fits? The coaches will see them play before anyone decides. Placement gets sorted case by case, with you in the conversation. Nobody gets filed into a group off a form.

🧭  The open grass field by the middle school turf fields, where we ran Touch Tuesdays. Map and photos

📌  Register by Fri, Aug 21 to play in Nashville on Sept 12.

🏫  Roswell and surrounding areas. All schools welcome.

Crabapple Field is confirmed through August 20 while the City finalizes its field agreements for the rest of the season. If anything changes, you will hear it from us first.

Meet Your Coaches

The high school girls and boys train and compete as separate teams, each with their own coaches, and both sides are on the field every session. U14 is often true coed, girls and boys on the same side, with coaches and families deciding placement together.

Meet your 2026-27 Rebels Rugby high school girls and boys coaches: Timmy Swanson and Damon Duncan with the girls, Griffin Hoard and Greg Goodman with the boys.

Four coaches plus alumni, college players, and parents. That depth is how newer and younger players train in groups that fit them, instead of lining up across from a senior on day one.

Never Played? Now Is The Perfect Time To Show Up.

Every player on this team started exactly there. Not one of them walked on knowing rugby. They showed up, learned the game on the field, and found out they belonged in it.

Early conditioning is non-contact, so there is nothing to survive on day one. The first two weeks ask nothing of you but boots and water.

Why Register Early

Sides have to be entered and rosters submitted ahead of the tournament, so early numbers decide how many teams we can field. Registering in week one instead of week five is the difference between a planned season and a scramble.

Registration also puts your player into TeamSnap, which is where practice details, field changes, and match logistics live all season.

Start the three steps here. Fall 7s runs August through December. Spring 15s in January is a separate season with its own registration.

Younger Rebels: U8, U10 & U12

Nothing starts in August for our younger players, so if that is your kid, you have nothing to do this week. Your season is October, and here it is in order:

SAT · OCT 3
Youth Day Parade. Players and parents march in Rebels kit.

SAT · OCT 10
Try-Rugby & Open House. Free, no contact, plus the Gear Exchange.

WEEK OF OCT 13
Practices Begin. U8, U10 and U12 take the field.

Fun & Fundamentals runs October through April. One continuous season, one registration, coed across all three age groups. Age is set by where your child sits on September 1.

The Open House location and practice times are still being confirmed. Those come in a future update along with registration, and we will not make you guess in the meantime.

If you are on the fence, October 10 is the low-stakes way in. Nothing to sign, nothing to buy, and the Gear Exchange means you can bring what you have and take what you need, free.

Nothing To Do Before Tuesday

Turn up at 7:00 with boots and water. When you are ready to register, the three steps are here. Questions to info@rebelsrugbyga.com, a real person answers.

See you Tuesday.
